Mommy and Daddy,
Oh....Ga Ga wasn't happy when she saw this mommy deer and two fawn eating Ga Ga's flowers. Then the mommy deer started to eat Grandpa's cherry tree and Grandpa went out on the deck and yelled at them and they all ran away. Later on in the day Evan saw a big turkey by the bird feeder in the front yard. Ga Ga said that they say "gobble, gobble" but Evan already knew that. Then the turkey ran away just like the deer.
It was a busy tractor day for Evan. Not only did Evan get four Ranger rides today; I got to ride the Farmall Cub when Grandpa was done grading the driveway. Later Ga Ga took me down to the shed to sit on all the tractors like I did with Grandpa the other day. Ga Ga looked so surprised when I sat on one of Grandpa's tractors and I said Ford. Grandpa sure has a lot of tractors and maybe when Evan gets older Evan can drive them without Grandpa sitting on the fender. Evan can't wait!
Evan likes this tractor that Grandpa calls a Cub. Grandpa won it a long time ago and plays with it all the time.
This is the Ford in case you don't know Mommy and Daddy. Grandpa drove one like this when he was a little boy on the farm.
The green and yellow ones are John Deere tractors. This is the big one. Grandpa says they are green for a reason... because everything about a John Deere cost a lot of money. Funny Grandpa :-)
Grandpa said to call this one a Case tractor.
Good thing all these tractors are different colors so it's easy for Evan to remember their names.
This is Grandpa's little John Deere. Grandpa cuts the grass with this tractor in the summer and blows snow with it in the summer. Evan got a ride on this tractor the other day.
Ga Ga showed Evan these flowers today. Ga Ga said that they were from our house. They sure are pretty. Mommy and Daddy...you will have to see them when you come to Grandpa and Ga Ga's house.
Evan played for a little while in the playhouse. This barn had cows, horses, and pigs inside. Ga Ga said that Daddy use to to a barn like this when he was little like Evan.
Ga Ga said that Daddy had a sandbox when he was a little boy. Maybe when Daddy comes he can help me build things in the sand. Mommy did you have a sandbox when you were a little girl? Oh, that's right Mommy...you lived by the ocean in California so you had a big, big sandbox :-) Evan funny Mommy. Glad you called Evan today Mommy. Ga Ga said Evan must miss you and Daddy because Evan said "Go home." But then Evan went for another Ranger ride and Evan was happy again. See you soon Mommy and Daddy. Love, Evan
